Please pray for Wendy, Lauren, Ashlee and Andrew McCabe. On Saturday night, Ian, their husband and father, died suddenly in New Delhi. It is assumed that he died of a heart attack while in transit at Delhi Airport between flights. Pray that God will be their comfort and strength in their sadness and grief. Wendy and Lauren were both here in New Zealand for Lauren to start university, while the younger two children, Ashlee and Andrew, were in India. Wendy and Lauren have flown back to India. Ian’s funeral is likely to be held at a place called Nawabganj in North India, the place where he grew up since his parents were in charge of a home for boys there. Ian has continued to have an active involvement in the running of that home.
