Introduction.

YWAM Ships Kona exists to serve isolated island communities through healthcare, education, development, and translation services for languages with no Bible in their mother tongue.

Using ships to serve these isolated villages is not just a good idea, it is the ONLY option. There are 936 isolated islands without an airport, a dock, any roads or bridges joining them.

By partnering with local communities and deploying trained volunteers, YWAM Ships Kona aims to bring lasting transformation, meeting practical needs while fostering dignity, connection, and sustainable change in places the world often overlooks.

Aims.

Serve isolated islands and remote shoreline villages.
Provide healthcare, education, and development services.
Support Bible translation for languages without Scripture.
Bring health and healing services.
Advance the Christian mission through training, evangelism, and mercy ministries.
Reach the most isolated and disadvantaged islands in the Pacific.
Deliver hope, aid, and the gospel.

Contributing towards the administration fee

If you would like to donate towards the 8% administration fee, this will be added to your gift. Please search for the project Service Support Contribution and add the 8% fee (maximum $200) there. Otherwise, 8% will be deducted from your gift.

Donations made to People or Projects incur an 8% administration fee. Donations to GC3 or Headspace do not incur this fee.
