Overview
Working with a local church in Norway to build healthy churches through Gospel outreach, Bible teaching, and shepherding.
The Need
Scandinavia is often overlooked in global mission. While many identify as Christian by heritage, fewer than 2% are evangelical, Bible-believing Christians.
In an increasingly secular context, there is a need for faithful Gospel teaching, strong local churches, and trained leaders.
What They’re Doing
Trinity, originally from New Zealand, serves as an elder at Sandefjord Evangeliske Menighet, a church planted alongside two Norwegian elders. He is also involved in leadership at Teologihuset (Theological Academy Norway), helping train future church leaders. The church partners with others to host a national conference, strengthening like-minded churches across the region. Trinity is currently completing a Master of Divinity.
Liv, who is Norwegian, home-educates their children and supports the ministry through translating biblical resources and reviewing church and training materials. She also leads a women’s Bible study and is involved in counselling within the church.
The Impact
Their ministry is contributing to the growth of a biblically grounded church in a highly secular context, while also helping equip future leaders and strengthening connections across churches in Norway and wider Europe.
