Overview
Ross supports Christian camping ministries across Africa, helping leaders use camps as a tool for outreach, discipleship, and leadership development.
What his week looks like
Ross works with Christian Camping International (CCI), which supports groups using Christian camping as a ministry tool. While camping ministries are active in over 100 countries, only around 60 have formal associations to support local practitioners.
As a CCI pioneer, Ross has been involved in identifying and supporting leaders who are already running camps, helping provide training and encouragement so they can grow in effectiveness.
His work has included helping initiate and support training events across East Africa, where a local steering committee developed into a formal association. He has continued to walk alongside this association over time.
Ross has also been involved in expanding this work into West Africa, beginning with training events in Ghana and extending into Sierra Leone and Nigeria. This has contributed to the formation of national associations, with further development continuing.
Much of his role now includes ongoing support and encouragement for these leaders, both through travel when possible and through regular online connection.

If you would like to donate towards the 8% administration fee, this will be added to your gift. Please search for the project Service Support Contribution and add the 8% fee (maximum $200) there. Otherwise, 8% will be deducted from your gift.
Donations made to People or Projects incur an 8% administration fee. Donations to GC3 or Headspace do not incur this fee.
