Overview
Mitch serves international students on tertiary campuses in and around Christchurch, New Zealand, seeking to reach the world for Christ through this ministry.
What her week looks like
Mitch’s main focus is serving international students on tertiary campuses in and around Christchurch.
A key part of this ministry is nurturing others to become mature ambassadors for the Gospel of the Kingdom. Many former students in New Zealand and beyond are now actively involved in local ministries or are leading ministries with national outreach in their home countries. Seeing this brings great joy.
Another important part of the work is developing and growing a ministry team in Christchurch so that international students can be reached in culturally appropriate ways. This helps the local team multiply its efforts for the Kingdom.
Things to celebrate
Grateful for the many opportunities to minister to international students, whether by helping them learn English, find their way around New Zealand, or discover the great love that Christ has for them.
Grateful that New Zealand welcomes internationals, which encourages students to study here and creates opportunities for the Gospel to be shared.
Things to pray for
Pray for consistency within the ministry team as they seek to build a ministry that endures.
Pray for the team in Christchurch, that the Lord will continue to pour Himself into them so they may pour the Lord and His Gospel into the lives of the international students at their doorstep.
