Mission Sunday.
People. Mission. Connected.
The Mission Sunday Kete is a free resource created by GC3 to support churches as they plan and host a meaningful Mission Sunday.
A supportive, volunteer-friendly way to host a Mission Sunday event.
It has been designed especially with volunteer-led churches in mind. Many Mission Sundays are prepared by people serving alongside work, family, and other responsibilities. This kete exists to make Mission Sunday feel achievable, prayerful, and well supported, rather than overwhelming or programme-heavy.
What's included?
The Mission Sunday Kete is a collection of optional, ready-to-use resources that churches can pick up and adapt to suit their own context.
It is not a programme you have to follow from start to finish. Churches are encouraged to use what is helpful and leave the rest.
The kete includes:
A simple, volunteer-friendly planning guide.
An optional 12-week planning timeline.
Prayer and reflection resources for services and small groups.
Tools to help engage children, families, and the wider congregation.
Communication templates and graphics.
Optional follow-up and reflection tools.
How does it work?
When a church signs up for the Mission Sunday Kete, GC3 provides digital resources to the planning team with short emails that are timed to the church’s chosen Mission Sunday date.
Churches can also access the full Mission Sunday Kete at any time and are welcome to reach out to GC3 for support or clarification.
