Overview
Mark and Korrin serve with YWAM in Tijuana, Mexico, working in poorer communities through practical support, ministry training and hosting short-term teams.
What our week looks like
Mark and Korrin serve with YWAM San Diego Baja, which seeks to engage a broken world with God's generosity. Much of their work takes place in the poorer communities of Tijuana, where they respond to practical needs such as housing, while also inviting people into Christ-centred communities and ministries.
Mark provides leadership and pastoral care for staff across several ministry areas, including house building, short-term teams and local outreach initiatives. He also regularly teaches in YWAM training schools.
Korrin focuses on member care, staff development and debriefing, and is involved in running the School of Missions and Evangelism.
They are encouraged by the long-term impact of the ministry, particularly seeing people who were once served through these initiatives now serving as staff themselves. Many who received homes as children, or were part of local ministry programmes, are now involved in reaching and supporting the next generation.
