Overview
Kevin and Helen facilitate partnerships with indigenous leaders who serve among the poorest communities, supporting their work through encouragement, project development and mentoring.
What our week looks like
Kevin and Helen serve partners who are working among the poorest communities in developing regions, particularly across Africa, India and the Middle East.
Their work involves visiting partners, maintaining regular communication, assisting with project development and implementation, and providing encouragement and support. They also mentor team members who are joining the work from the West.
Their partners are local leaders who live within the communities they serve. Alongside church planting and discipleship, they respond to the realities of economic poverty through initiatives such as education, scholarships, women’s empowerment, training, micro-loans, agriculture and small business development.
Many of these communities face significant challenges, including social and economic pressure on those who come to faith. As a result, the work often involves supporting the whole person, addressing spiritual, relational, emotional and physical needs.
One example of this work is a partner who began a preschool to connect with the community, which led to broader initiatives including feeding programmes, care for the elderly, and training young people for church planting. This has grown into a wider ministry that now includes a large school, employment opportunities, and ongoing support for church planting and community care.

Thankful for the men and women serving faithfully in challenging contexts.
Thankful that people are coming to faith, even in some of the hardest places.

Pray for wisdom as they navigate global challenges and travel.

Donations made to People or Projects incur an 8% administration fee. Donations to GC3 or Headspace do not incur this fee.
