Overview
Graeme and Rachel serve in the Philippines, working with local communities to translate Scripture and produce Christian resources in local languages.
What our week looks like
Graeme and Rachel live on the island of Palawan, among indigenous communities, where their primary focus is Bible translation.
They are working alongside local people to translate the New Testament into a local language, helping make God’s Word accessible and understood within the community. In addition to this, they are involved in a Tagalog translation team, writing books in local languages, and teaching at Bible training camps both in the Philippines and in New Zealand.
Their ministry is both practical and relational, combining translation work with teaching and equipping others. Much of their time is spent preparing for and engaging in these activities, with a rhythm of ministry taking place throughout mornings and evenings.
Things to celebrate
Thankful that after 10 years of this ministry, they are seeing the impact of God’s Word being available in local languages and the difference it is making in people’s lives.

Pray for God’s protection and strength for Graeme, Rachel, and those involved in translation work, particularly in the face of spiritual challenges.
Pray for more workers to join in translation, Bible teaching, and children’s ministry.
