Overview
Drew and Kirsty build intentional, everyday relationships with Spaniards and Moroccans, creating natural opportunities to share the gospel and support discipleship.
What our week looks like
Drew and Kirsty primarily serve Spaniards and Moroccans in their local community, with a particular focus on families and young parents.
Their week centres around language learning and building relationships through everyday activities such as playgroups, coffees, meals, and time with families. They intentionally create space for spiritual conversations, follow up with people, and take practical steps to deepen relationships and share the gospel.
They support local churches by helping create welcoming environments where people can connect, particularly through playgroups where mothers are encouraged to invite others. They also engage men who may be isolated, helping them step into community and explore faith through relationship.
Their work is significant in a context where many people have limited understanding of the gospel. While Christianity may be culturally familiar in Spain, meaningful engagement with the message of Jesus is often lacking. Among Moroccan communities in Spain, there is even less exposure, making relational, everyday witness an important part of their ministry.
A recent conversation during a Good Friday procession highlighted this reality, when someone shared they knew Jesus had died but did not understand why. Moments like this create natural opportunities to share the deeper meaning of the gospel.
Things to celebrate
Thankful that their children have settled well into school and community life.
Thankful for growing friendships and an increasing sense of connection within their local community.

Pray for boldness and consistency in initiating spiritual conversations.
Pray for the playgroup volunteers as they build a welcoming and fruitful space for connection.
Pray for key relationships with people of influence who can help extend the reach of the gospel into families and communities.

Donations made to People or Projects incur an 8% administration fee. Donations to GC3 or Headspace do not incur this fee.
