Overview
As a family we are helping local churches here in Fondi to reach out to seekers and disciple them. For over 20 years now (in Lazio region and beyond) we have been reaching out to migrants from South Asia and following up the people we are in contact with by sending them multi media materials in their national language(s). Last but not least we are also helping to provide legal support and holistic help to Christian migrants to Italy from two South Asian nations.
What our week looks like
Andrew and Patrizia are in regular contact with Pakistanis and Indians who live in Fondi and beyond. They are also reaching out to Bangladeshis in other locations wherever possible, especially in the town of Terracina.
Patrizia is involved in women's Bible studies for seekers, while Andrew is engaged in outreach to the town of Sperlonga together with two men from the local assembly. The focus on outreach in Sperlonga will continue throughout 2026 and will then be re-evaluated by the evangelism team of the Fondi assembly.
On a national level, Andrew is involved in coaching fellow believers in their outreach to migrants and in providing evangelistic materials on behalf of others so that outreach to migrants, including homeless people in Palermo who originate from other nations, may continue.
Andrew and Patrizia are also involved in a ministry of intercession, exchanging prayer topics, including prayers for needy full time workers in Italy, with various churches. Andrew is a member of the national trust of the Italian Brethren Missionary Service Group OMEFI.
They are heavily involved in providing holistic, including legal, assistance to two brothers in Christ. One is an Indian migrant who was recently operated on due to a tumour in his head and attends the fellowship they attend. The other is a man from another South Asian nation who is seeking to come to Italy in the future. He is already pastoring the Punjabi majority church located in the north of the province of Latina at a distance, with a Punjabi elder on the ground.
On Thursdays, Andrew teaches History lessons online, while Patrizia is involved in the local assembly’s ministry to South Asian women, the majority being Punjabi Indians with one Pakistani lady in regular attendance.
Reaching South Asians living in Italy is strategic, as they often come from nations where unreached peoples abound and where persecution may discourage people in their spiritual search for truth.
Things to celebrate
We thank the Lord for recently providing a suitable E-Bike for outreach to Italians in Sperlonga and Bangladeshis in Terracina.
Things to pray for
Please pray for strength and wisdom in addressing the many practical needs of the two believers mentioned in the profile as well as for Patrizia as she advises new women believers whose life situations can be messy.
As Andrew is also involved in informal counseling of Christian men who have embarked on Intercultural marriages please pray for wisdom for him as he speaks to those men in complex situations.
